EzClix Daily Traffic Stats
A couple of people have been asking about the surge in daily traffic at the end of last month. And why it didn’t continue…
Short version is, we were testing a batch of new traffic sources, and none of them really delivered the kind of results we were looking for. Three of these were quite high volume… as visible in the daily stats… but the majority of visitors just weren’t engaged enough. That is part of the reason we’ve been working on the new traffic page mentioned earlier, and we’re currently running some test campaigns to see if we can filter out the more engaged users from that traffic without distorting our ongoing stats. So far it’s looking pretty good!
A couple of the other sources we tried were more responsive and have been added to the rotation, but they are relatively low volume so won’t have a major impact on the daily numbers. That said, there are plenty of these out there, so our goal is to keep finding them and adding them, so over time the numbers do add up!
