AI Tools for Marketers
As mentioned last time around, we have tried a lot of these in recent months with very limited results. Turns out quite a few of our Members have done the same with equally disappointing results.
The short version seems to be: if a site is promising floods of AI generated traffic with no input from you, it’s probably B.S!
There’s quite a few that promise big AI toolkits, but most of these are pretty basic content-creation tasks, so you’ll still need to be hands-on to generate and post the content.
You definitely don’t need to pay for these! There are loads of free options out there and we’ll be putting a list and links together shortly.
There’s also some excellent tools for automation and we’re using several of these now, to create, publish and social-share a lot of our blog and video content.
This is a bit complicated at first, but we’ll share a few of our ‘recipes’ when we’re done in case anyone wants to duplicate some of it.
So with that in mind, my general advice for anyone wondering about AI would be, make a start!
Create a (free) account on ChatGPT or DeepSeek and just experiment. See what it can do, so you can get a feel for how you might use it in your own business.
Learn Prompting. Prompting is just the process of writing instructions for the AI in a way that so you get quality content back.
The best way to learn prompting is to just ask the AI to write the prompt for you…
“Write me a template prompt I can reuse to generate high-quality, interesting and engaging blog posts on a given subject. Include placeholders for any inputs you’ll need from me to make this a powerful and effective prompt”
You can use this approach for virtually any task, and the AI will provide a prompt that will generate the content you’re chasing! I’m already using this for blog posts, product reviews, email follow ups, video scripts and more.
And this is just the basics… we’ll dig into some more advanced options next time!
